The Denali Pro's shoulder harness connects to the frame of the pack via rotating Auto-Cant attachment points, adjusting automatically to the contours of your neck and shoulders and eliminating the pinching and chafing caused by the imperfect fit of fixed or less adjustable harnesses. Even Gregory's waistbelts are built for high-performance, employing an Adjust-A-Cant design that allows you to choose which of three possible hip-to-waist angles best fits your body. Unlike the sewn-in waistbelt design found in most backpacks, the Denali Pro's waistbelt is bolted securely to the stays and framesheet, providing optimal weight distribution and helping to maintain comfort regardless of the weight of your load. The Flo-Form II padding of the backpanel, shoulder harness and waistbelt provides cushioning and prevents chafing. A layer of soft foam covered in smooth, abrasion-resistant fabric encases denser layers of foam which provide stability and support. A sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Denali Pro and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient adjustment while in the backcountry. A fully integrated compression system enables you to reduce excess space in your pack, secure your load, keep weight shift to a minimum and increase your balance and maneuverability. Traditionally, pack body access is an issue in backpacks built to carry heavy loads and large amounts of gear. This is not the case with the Denali Pro, as Gregory has incorporated top and front panel access, as well as a separate zippered entry to a lower sleeping bag compartment. A lashed divider separates this lower compartment from the main compartment, allowing for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unhook the divider and convert the Denali Pro to a single, large compartment. The front panel is separated from the main compartment by a zippered mesh wall that allows the front entry to serve as an additional place to store and organize gear. The extendible lid of the Denali Pro includes a zippered pocket for stowing gear and can be detached from the pack body for use as a lumbar pack. An additional zippered front pocket with an internal mesh pocket provides yet another place to house gear and clothes. The Denali Pro offers a number of other features, including ice axe loops and attachment points, dual mesh side pockets with ski tail pass-throughs, a daisy chain gear attachment, numerous lash points and sturdy sewn-in haul loops. An integrated sleeve in the main compartment of the pack body makes the Denali Pro hydration compatible. Replace the broken or worn baskets on your LEKI trekking poles with LEKI Performance Baskets. These baskets help your poles to find purchase in loose sand and mud without sinking any deeper than needed. You can easily lock the threaded Performance Basket securely in place by passing the carbide tip of your LEKI pole through the center hole and turning in a clockwise direction.
